When today it told me it wanted me to download SP-2, I googled about it. The entire process took me about 5 hours. On the screen of my laptop is !!Oxc0000034!! 250/86899 (_000000000000000.cdf-ms) Is there any problem with my computer? i'm currently installing a windows vista service pack 2 and its taking 3 hours and still counting!!! Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post. I am glad I found this (and a lot of other similar information), and I'll be sure not to even try this one. (Only problem is I think there were some Click "Start", type: MSCONFIG in the search box and press Enter. That is a good sign.

Was the only way it worked for me. every time i try to turn of my ccomputer, it randomly shows that it is installing the update (step 1/3 completed 0% for example) and it gets stuck at 0%. etc. Windows 7 Service Pack 3 Vista has dramatically improved with the Service Packs; however, it has its' unusual ways that is not the most user friendly to the everyday user.
