Computer Shuts Down During Boot
Most laptops have integrated video card and they need only motherboard, CPU (with heatsink/fan) and memory. Tried different outlets and different power cables, all had the same outcome.Current power supply is:Raidmax 450W ATX12V RX-450KAny other testing I can do? I would go to turn it on and the fans spun but then it would shut off. Computer Shuts Down During Boot
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. The farthest I got was a split second windows splash screen, but other than that it wont last more than 5 seconds before just shutting down. There is 2 reasons you 1.might have a virus 2.
I took everything appart, all I had was the motherboard and batter and hard drive hooked up and still it does the same thing. Unplugged the power to the hdd and it would again boot up to the windows splash screen then shut down, boot up again and within 5 seconds computer would turn off. I checked inside and I have the updated speaker grounding and I've replaced the CPU thinking it was sensing an overheating. Try reverting the operating system back to the previous state using the system restore utility and see if the problem disappears. When the hard drive is installed you can hear that spin up then shuts down.
