Already have an account? So what I gather from this is that my computer was trying to use the Ati driver for my 3870, but I had taken the actual card out. I swapped the memory stick from another old machine and Presto, I am all going.
The next day Iturned on my computer but after the splash screen Windows 7 reboot . Most of the time it does the same thing, it turns off after about 1/4 of a second and I repeat the process of turning off the surge protector then turning Benchmark ! Cmos Battery Your MBR might be corrupted.
