We do not want to replace your CPU. I just wanted to point out what I thought was pertinent...what would be pertinent if that was my system. My Notebook is a Packard Bell TS11HR: I have a freeze once a week or so, regardless what I am doing: surfing, Windows Explorer, Music or just overnight in idle. Recently been playing a bit of Battlefield 3 (no surprises I guess...).

This morning I inspected the CPU's existing cooling system and noticed a lot of dust covering the grills underneath the fan, so I cleaned those up.
