I recently discovered the pciide.sys issue with combofix. If not, that would be a good idea.If all you had was one bad/missing/infected system file, simply copying an archived copy and overwriting the bad one might have fixed the problem. Logs can take a while to research, so please be patient and know that I am working hard to get you a clean and functional system back in your hands. A few days ago it got more severe and now more symptomatic.

It seems the cure has become worse than the disease. With google I found the admissions page and will check regularly for an open slot. Do I have an infection or is it false positives? It's better to be sure and safe than sorry.

A case like this could easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. CF is quite an amazing tool and does a better job than many commercial antivirus programs in getting rid of some of the most pervasive and nasty infections out there.
