Wow, that one quotation is enough to make me want to delete my account right now. Our own experience has proven that very few of our own pins are getting seen by anyone at all, even with 10,000+ followers. What is making me really REALLY mad is all the "picked for you" religious/bible quotes. If I don't want to see it from people I follow, I don't want to see it from pinterest either.
Drives me nuts - it's like FB and having to visit the pages I've liked to get their posts. Language is more than just about communicaton, it is about identily too, and the big intertnet companies such as Facebook, Microsoft, Google, etc etc are too lazy to respect non-American English It's very annoying! Today I see exactly as you say.
This is seriously frustrating, it feels like betrayal. Good luck! February 23, 2013 at 5:35 am This is a relatively new thing that's happened from Facebook , I say relatively new because it just started less than a year ago and I need to start filtering my news feed because 99% of my posts are for games and I would rather not see them every minute of every day. That's where the following apps come in. First, "Suggested Sites" is the feature the author was referring to.
If I want to see if anyone repinned my posts, or followed me, I have to go to my own page to find it. Ad Blocker I live in France and of course the French can have Facebook in French - and most other languages are catered for. There's no actual way to completely hide the top sites from the interface on a Mac as there is on iOS. The same goes for our own boards.
They need to introduce a report as inappropriate. I have sent several emails and support tickets to them, and have never had an answer. Perhaps the response should simply be a reminder - Pinterest is one discovery tool - but your goal is probably to get people back to your site. But if you're just hiding the apps it's a bit more subtle. :) Thanks for mentioning these steps though, as it's another way to do things.
Just remember, anything that's free on the Internet that you would pay for anywhere else is likely to come with hidden costs such as malware. https://help.getadblock.com/solution/articles/6000089538-seeing-pop-ups-and-you-ve-got-a-virus-warnings-on-your-favorite-free-streaming-tv-site- No luck! Adblock Plus I don't try to pander to anyone else's tastes except my own. Craigslist I had started hating Pinterest because of all the random gunk in my feed.
There's a reason I follow Handmade Charlotte and Jordan Ferney and Justin Hackworth and Martha Stewart Living and Traci French-they've earned my trust. It might also be nice if there was a "how did we do?" link on the "picked for you" items. You are amaze-balls. As commercial photographers and bloggers, we sell our photography.
Now I'm seeing 6, 25, 88 repins sometimes. I used to visit it many times a day to see new things that I loved, but now my interest is not that big, I see so many things that I If you have any questions let me know. With all due respect to a pinner who created a board featuring 47,863 items carefully curated under the category Everything, it's boards like these that start to make Pinterest a less valuable

But yes, likely because they're making way for more promoted content (it's all about monetizing).
However in the Address field, it shows up as ‘\Links' so that's why I typed it that way March 13, 2010 Jim S It will keep coming back in the Favorites

Reply Ashlee on March 2, 2015 at 9:47 am Wow yours is WAY worse than mine! On a Mac, you can tweak it to prevent your personal information from appearing. And I let my children use it and now I cant. I use that everytime I add a new friend for gaming that I only see their gaming info and nothing else!
i had a serious one come up the other day, I found it upsetting. Right now, I am still seeing Valentine's Day pins at the top of my feed a two full weeks after Valentine's Day. I just think a solid search algorithm, while getting better (somewhat) has yet to be the site's strong suit. i get asked these kinds of questions all the time by those that are not too savvy on internet and are curious about Facebook.
Not one of these changes has done anything but ruin what I used to love. I have spent lots and lots of time to get where I am at right now on Pinterest and would find it sad if all my effort goes to waste. Such a shame, because it used to be my favorite website for new ideas and projects. Also, to a lesser extent it is infiltrating into other languages too (I'm in France too, BTW).
I think it has to get pretty unfulfilling before it reaches the point of driving users away, but I think Pinterest is fast approaching that point for me. This will eliminate that app from ever appearing in your news feed again, thereby saving you from missing out on stuff you may or may not want to see by utilizing Have you noticed that because of all the American shows being dubbed into French, the younger generation are starting to use phrases that are very American, even though they are spoken Whenever I did open the app I would feel pretty underwhelmed by what I saw and after a while I noticed that the ‘picked for you' pins nearly outnumbered the pins
Once they have you on the phone, they will try to convince you that you have a virus and you should pay them to remove it for you. My problem is I can no longer get to the home page.
